Adam O'Doherty

Adam O’Doherty, the new President and CEO of Northwest Indiana United Way, is our newest Board Member. Adam obtained both his Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN. Adam is passionate about both the world of education and nonprofits, making that same transition as many of our Caring Place staff from education to the nonprofit arena. On joining The Caring Place Board of Directors, Adam says, “Since I was a child I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping those in need and that may not have the strength or the voice to advocate for themselves. I started my career in education and eventually moved into nonprofit work. I have always strived to make large impacts in the work I commit myself to. I am very passionate about the work the Caring Place does and would be honored to support the organization in any way I can.” WE are honored to welcome Adam O’Doherty to our amazing and dedicated Board of Directors.
