Katie Kuka lives in Valparaiso, Indiana with her husband and their three children. She is an Associate Director at the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at the University of Notre Dame. LEO is a domestic poverty research center focused on identifying programs that effectively and permanently move people out of poverty. Katie oversees the operations and strategic planning processes of LEO. Prior to joining LEO, she worked for an organizational development consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations. Earlier in her career, Katie worked as a CPA in public accounting and in-house finance roles. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University.
