Denise Koebcke


Denise has been involved with The Caring Place in some capacity for many years. As a bullying prevention specialist, Denise partnered with The Caring Place as they designed the NBA bullying prevention initiative. Later, she served on the Youth Dating Violence Prevention Task Force and developed The Amanda Forum Dating Violence Prevention Program.  While working full time in education, Denise also served TCP as their Youth Outreach Coordinator and more recently as President and CEO.


Denise is a licensed educator, consultant, and international presenter with expertise in many types of prevention. She has provided ongoing training and strategic planning for staff and students in school districts and non-profits from Indiana to New Brunswick, Canada. Twice inducted into the Northwest Indiana Society of Innovators, Denise has been honored with several community impact awards and has presented at many national conferences. Denise is also a contributing author to the 2013 Handbook of Pro-Social Education. 


Proud mom to two amazing young adults, Matthew and Megan, Denise has a BA in Education from Purdue University, an MS in Media and Technology from Indiana State, and trained in educational leadership with Dr. Richard Manatt from Iowa State.
